NHL: Pittsburgh 4, New York Islanders 2

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- James Neal put Pittsburgh ahead with a power-play goal 3 minutes into the game Tuesday and the Penguins went on to a 4-2 win over the New York Islanders.

Simon Despres, Brandon Sutter and Pascal Dupuis also scored for Pittsburgh, which notched a fourth straight win and fifth in six contests.

Marc-Andre Fleury turned aside 32-of-34 shots for the Penguins.

Michael Grabner and Brad Boyes scored 34 seconds apart early in the third period, pulling New York to within 3-2, but the Islanders could get no closer and dropped their second straight.

Evgeni Nabokov made 22 stops for New York.
