EDMONTON, Alberta, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Devan Dubnyk stopped 37-of-38 shots Monday and the Edmonton Oilers scored four power-play goals in their 4-1 triumph over Colorado.
Dubnyk made 23 of his saves in the third period and Jordan Eberle netted the eventual game-winner late in the initial frame for the Oilers, who notched a third win in five games to start the season.
Ales Hemsky, Shawn Horcoff and Nail Yakupov also tallied in Edmonton's victory.
P.A. Parenteau scored and Semyon Varlamov turned aside 23-of-26 shots for the Avalanche, who dropped a second straight game.
