NHL: Vancouver 5, Anaheim 0

ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Mason Raymond scored twice Friday and Cory Schneider recorded the fifth shutout of his career in Vancouver's 5-0 victory over Anaheim.

The Canucks had given up an average of four goals per game in their first three outings, but Schneider stopped all 29 shots he faced. He is starting his fifth season with Vancouver, the last two as the team's top goaltender, and his five shutouts have come in 71 contests.

Jonas Hiller gave up all five Vancouver goals on 33 shots in what was Anaheim's first loss.

Raymond scored on the power play with 1:20 to go in the first period, putting Vancouver in front 2-0. He finished the scoring with 4:49 to play in the third.

Daniel Sedin, Aaron Volpatti and Zack Kassian also scored for the Canucks with three of their goals coming on the power play.
