SACRAMENTO, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 24 points while playing only two-thirds of the game Friday and Oklahoma City breezed to a 105-95 victory over Sacramento.
The Thunder won for the 10th time in 13 contests and improved to 3-2 on a six-game road swing that will end on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Sacramento has dropped three straight.
Oklahoma City broke the game open in the third quarter and took a 19-point lead into the final 12 minutes. Durant hit 7-of-12 field while pulling down 11 rebounds. Kevin Martin, who played more minutes off the bench that Durant did in a starting role, also scored 24 points. Russell Westbrook added 18.
The Thunder made half their field goal attempts and converted a dozen more free throws than did the Kings.
Tyreke Evans had 18 points for Sacramento.
