NHL: Chicago 3, Dallas 2 (OT)

DALLAS, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Marian Hossa scored a power-play goal 1:41 into overtime Thursday that brought Chicago a 3-2 triumph over Dallas.

The Blackhawks overcame a 2-0 deficit to remain unbeaten and became the first team in the NHL this year with four victories.

Hossa's winning goal came with Brenden Morrow in the penalty box. The Dallas captain was called for interference just 22 seconds into the overtime period.

Loui Eriksson gave Dallas the lead when he scored shorthanded with only a second left in the first period.

Ray Whitney added to the Stars' lead midway through the second, but Patrick Sharp got the Blackhawks on the board late in that period and Jonathan Toews tied it with 5:53 left in the third.

All three Chicago goals came on the power play.

Corey Crawford made 18 saves to get the victory. Dallas' Kari Lehtonen faced 42 shots and stopped 39 of them.
