NBA: Washington 114, Minnesota 101

WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Jordan Crawford led a strong shooting performance Friday that lifted Washington to its 10th victory of the season -- 114-101 over Minnesota.

The Wizards, who lost their first 12 games of the campaign, became the last NBA team to reach 10 wins. This was Washington's second-largest margin of victory, surpassed only by a 29-point triumph over Orlando on Jan. 14.

Six Washington players reached double figures, sending the Wizards to a 60-46 halftime lead and as much as a 22-point advantage in the fourth quarter. Crawford scored 19 points, Bradley Beal had 16 and both Nene and John Wall had 14.

Washington shot at a 60 percent pace through the first three quarters and wound up making 57 percent of its field goal attempts for the game.

Minnesota, which has lost three in a row, got 18 points from Derrick Williams and 17 from Andrei Kirilenko.
