NBA: Toronto 90, Philadelphia 72

TORONTO, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Amir Johnson's 19 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday paced Toronto to its first win of the season against a division opponent, 90-72 over Philadelphia.

The Raptors had played five games against teams from the Atlantic Division without a victory until they dominated the second half against the 76ers.

Toronto snapped a two-game skid and won for the ninth time in 12 games.

DeMar DeRozan also scored 19 points for Toronto and Ed Davis had 17 points to go with nine rebounds. The Raptors outscored Philadelphia by 16 in the second half and held the 76ers to 11 points in the fourth period.

Jrue Holiday and Thaddeus Young both scored 16 points for Philadelphia, which has lost five in a row. The teams combined to make just 3-of-19 shots from 3-point range.
