LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin's 18 points helped Los Angeles pull away in the second half Wednesday and the Clippers won their 11th in a row, 93-77 over New Orleans.
Los Angeles limited the Hornets to no more than 22 points in any quarter and continued to follow along with Oklahoma City as the hottest teams in the NBA.
Oklahoma City won its 12th straight earlier in the evening and Los Angeles had no trouble earnings its 11th straight. New Orleans made only 2-of-20 from 3-point range and suffered 20 turnovers.
Jamal Crawford contributed 17 points for the Clippers, who shot 49 percent. DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and Matt Barnes had 11.
The Hornets have lost nine straight and dropped their 20th of the season, most in the Western Conference. Robin Lopez had 22 points and nine rebounds for New Orleans.
