NBA: Chicago 108, Detroit 104

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- A monster game from Joakim Noah Friday lifted Chicago to a 108-104 victory over Detroit, a team the Bulls have defeated 16 straight times.

Noah scored 30 points and grabbed a staggering 23 rebounds. His two free throws with 8 seconds remaining gave the Bulls a seven-point lead.

Carlos Boozer added 24 points for Chicago and both Luol Deng and Marco Belinelli had 16. It has been almost four full years since Detroit last defeated Chicago and that drought continued despite the Pistons building as much as a 17-point lead in the second period.

Chicago cut its deficit to five by halftime and finished the third quarter with a four-point advantage.

Detroit was led by Rodney Stuckey with 24 points and seven assists. Brandon Knight contributed 21 points for the Pistons, losers of four of their last five.
