NBA: Philadelphia 99, Utah 93

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Thaddeus Young scored seven points during a 13-2, fourth-quarter run Friday that launched Philadelphia to a 99-93 triumph over Utah.

The 76ers snapped a two-game skid by fighting off a Jazz comeback.

Philadelphia took a 10-point lead after one period, but the game grew tight in the second half and the score was deadlocked with 10:15 to play. The 76ers then went on their key run to take an 84-73 lead and they held on from there.

Jrue Holiday scored 26 points for the 76ers and dealt out seven assists. Jason Richardson made five 3-pointers while picking up 20 points and Young finished with 14.

Paul Millsap led Utah with 22 points and seven rebounds.

The Jazz dropped to 1-2 on a four-game road trip that concludes Saturday in Washington.
