NBA: Golden State 106, Cleveland 96

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- David Lee hit 10-of-16 shots and sparked a late third-quarter run Wednesday that carried Golden State to a 106-96 victory over Cleveland.

Lee was one of seven Warriors in double figures and Golden State shot 53 percent from the field in boosting its record to 3-2.

The Warriors were trailing by 3 midway through the third period but closed the quarter on a 17-6 run. Cleveland came no closer than 8 points in the fourth.

Lee scored 22 points and had 14 rebounds, Stephen Curry added 21 for the Kings and Carl Landry contributed 19 points and nine boards.

The Cavaliers, who have three more to play on a cross-country road trip that will conclude in Brooklyn next Tuesday, were led by Kyrie Irving with 28 points.
