NEW DELHI, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull won the pole position for the Indian Grand Prix at Saturday's qualifying run in New Delhi.
Vettel will be joined by teammate Mark Webber in the front row for the start of Sunday's Formula One event.
Red Bull has taken the pole in the last three consecutive F1 races. Vettel, the current F1 points leader, won the Indian Grand Prix last year.
Vettel recovered from over-steering in turn seven of his first lap and went on to turn in the fastest qualifying time of the day -- 1 minute, 25.283 seconds.
"It was a tight session, especially in the end when I had a mistake during my first run," Vettel said. "Fortunately, I got the next lap together, and I was very happy with the lap itself."
Webber came in 0.44 seconds behind Vettel.
McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button took third and fourth positions.
