MLS: D.C. United 1, Portland 1 (tie)

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Bright Dike scored his second goal in two games Saturday, netting the 79th-minute equalizer to pull the Portland Timbers into a 1-1 tie with D.C. United.

Dike's goal came after Steven Smith's cross was initially stopped by D.C. midfielder Marcelo Saragosa. But the Timbers forward corralled the ball and fired it into the net, erasing a 1-0 deficit.
