FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis has been cleared for contact after a concussion and may be ready to play Sunday against Miami.

Revis was injured with what was diagnosed as a mild concussion during the Jets' season-opening game and missed last Sunday's contest. He has been cleared for contact but his availability for Sunday is still unclear, Jets Coach Rex Ryan said.

"I could say that I expect him to play, but again, I am going to lean on the doctors and the trainers," Ryan said Thursday. "He's cleared for contact."

Revis had an interception in the Buffalo game, which the Jets won. New York was beaten 27-10 by Pittsburgh last week and play at 1-1 Miami Sunday.
