NFL: Atlanta 27, Denver 21

ATLANTA, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Matt Ryan tossed two touchdown passes and Atlanta's defense picked off Peyton Manning three times Monday in the Falcons' 27-21 win over Denver.

Ryan completed 24-of-36 passes for 219 yards, connecting with Tony Gonzalez on a 1-yard score and finding Roddy White with a 4-strike, which handed Atlanta (2-0) a 27-7 lead in the third quarter.

The Falcons logged interceptions by William Moore, Robert McClain and Thomas DeCoud in the first quarter, ending each of Denver's first three drives with a turnover.

Moore's pick-off led to Michael Turner's 1-yard TD plunge only 6:40 into the game and Matt Bryant garnered the first of his two field goals after McClain's interception.

White finished with eight grabs for 102 yards in the victory.

Manning ended up 24-of-37 through the air for 241 yards and a TD for the Broncos.

Willis McGahee ran for 113 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter scores on 22 carries in the loss.
