MLS: Seattle 1, FC Dallas 1 (tie)

FRISCO, Texas, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Jackson's goal in the 32nd minute Sunday evened the score 1-1 and enabled FC Dallas to come away with a draw against Seattle.

Jackson was unguarded when he collected a cross from Blas Perez and put it in the net for Dallas (8-12-9), which retained the sixth-place position in the Western Conference with the tie.

Mauro Rosales had given the Sounders an early lead with a tally in the 20th, firing home a pinpoint pass across the face of the goal from Steve Zakuani.

Seattle (12-6-8) used the draw to take sole possession of third place the West with 44 points.
