MLB: San Diego 5, Arizona 0

PHOENIX, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Eric Stults allowed three hits over seven innings Friday and drove in three runs in boosting the San Diego Padres to a 5-0 victory over Arizona.

The Padres won their fifth in a row thanks chiefly to Stults (4-2), who has won three games with one no-decision since being brought back into the San Diego rotation. He walked one and struck out four during a 103-pitch effort.
