NFL: Tennessee 30, Tampa Bay 7

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Chris Johnson scored on a pair of 14-yard runs in the first half Friday, leading the Tennessee Titans to a 30-7 exhibition victory over Tampa Bay.

Johnson carried 10 times for 46 yards and Rob Bironas kicked three field goals for the Titans, who easily defeated a Tampa Bay team that spent most of the evening trying to run the ball.

The Buccaneers threw only 17 passes and had 29 running plays while managing just 81 yards of offense. Both teams are 1-1 in the exhibition campaign.

Darius Reynaud led Tennessee in rushing with 79 yards and the Titans picked up 216 yards overall on the ground.

Tampa Bay's only score came on a 2-yard pass from Josh Freeman to Mike Williams in the opening period following a 29-yard interception return by Ahmad Black.
