TORONTO, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Novak Djokovic defended his Rogers Cup title Sunday, dispatching France's Richard Gasquet in straight sets.
The Serbian superstar collected his third Canadian title overall with his 6-3, 6-2 decision over Gasquet at Toronto's Rexall Centre.

Djokovic also won the event in 2007.
The world No. 2 saved all four of his break point opportunities and reeled off five aces in the triumph, improving to 7-1 against Gasquet in his career and raising he career ATP finals mark to 31-17.
