Edwards holds off Keselowski in New York

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y., Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Carl Edwards grabbed the lead with 10 laps left and held off Brad Keselowski down the stretch Saturday to win the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International.

Edwards stood firm during a two-lap shootout to the finish following a late accident involving rookie Austin Dillon, besting Keselowski by 1.1 seconds for his 38th career Nationwide win.

It was the first Nationwide Series race of the season for Edwards, who competed in the series full-time from 2005-11 but has since chosen to focus on the Sprint Cup Series.

Pole-sitter Sam Hornish Jr. came in third, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ron Fellows.

Elliott Sadler finished 12th but retained his point standings lead, while Stenhouse moved from third to second, 13 points behind Sadler.
