Olympic Medal: M Beach Volleyball

LONDON, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Julius Brink and Jonas Reckermann of Germany won the Olympic gold medal Thursday in men's beach volleyball.

They defeated Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego of Brazil in three sets to capture the championship match.

The bronze medal went to Martins Plavins and Janis Smedins of Latvia.
