Olympic Medal: M K1 1000 Canoeing

DORNEY, England, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Erik Veras Larsen of Norway won the Olympic gold medal Wednesday in the men's singles 1,000-meter kayak race.

Adam van Koeverden of Canada was the silver medal winner. Max Hoff of Germany took the bronze.
