BLAINE, Minn., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- David Peoples surged into the lead with a 10-under 62 Saturday at the 3M Championship, establishing a 3-stroke advantage after two rounds.
Peoples' stellar round missed the course record at TPC Twin Cities by a single shot. He was also just two strokes shy of setting the 36-hole tournament record, ending at 14-under-par 130.

Moving into sole possession of second place at 11-under 133 was Eduardo Romero, who turned in a round of 7-under 65.
Joe Daley claimed third one shot further back after carding his second straight 67, while Olin Browne (67) and Joel Edwards (69) were knotted for fourth at 9-under 135.
