MLB: Chicago Cubs 4, St. Louis 2 (10 inn.)

CHICAGO, July 29 (UPI) -- Anthony Rizzo lined a game-winning, two-run homer in the 10th inning Sunday, boosting the Chicago Cubs to a 4-2 decision over St. Louis.

Starlin Castro led off the 10th with a single off Trevor Rosenthal (0-1) and Rizzo followed by smacking a pitch that just made it into the left-field stands at Wrigley Field for the game-winner.

The Cubs first-baseman finished 3-for-4 and Darwin Barney added a pair of RBI in the victory.

Rizzo's clout made a winner of James Russell (5-0), who set the Cardinals down 1-2-3 in the top of the 10th as Chicago took the rubber match of a three-game series.

Carlos Beltran smacked a solo homer and Tyler Greene added an RBI for St. Louis.
