The right-hander was taken out of the game after surrendering a sixth-inning RBI single to Carlos Ruiz that pulled the Phillies to within 3-2.

After Jonny Venters yielded a pinch-hit single to Hunter Pence, Chad Durbin induced John Mayberry to ground out, ending the inning.

Jason Heyward and Chipper Jones each cracked solo homers and Freddie Freeman added a two-run single as the Braves reeled off their second three-game sweep of the Phillies in July.

Roy Halladay (4-6) absorbed the loss, giving up three runs on six hits over six full frames.

Shane Victorino went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in the loss.
