MLS: FC Dallas 5, Portland 0

FRISCO, Texas, July 22 (UPI) -- Jackson scored a goal and added two assists Saturday for FC Dallas, which humbled Portland 5-0.

The Brazilian midfielder scored in the 48th minute when he beat two Timbers and fired a shot that bounced off Futty Danso and into the Portland net, making it 2-0. He later helped out on goals by Scott Sealy and Ruben Luna.

Andrew Jacobson also scored for Dallas (5-10-7), which broke a seven-game home winless streak.

Portland (5-11-4) fell to 0-9-2 on the road and set an MLS record by playing 697 minutes without scoring a goal away from home.
