MLB: Baltimore 4, Minnesota 3

MINNEAPOLIS, July 19 (UPI) -- Mark Reynolds delivered a two-run double in the eighth inning Thursday that allowed the Baltimore Orioles to post a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins led 3-1 but the Orioles scored on a fielder's choice in the seventh.

Minnesota reliever Alex Burnett (3-3) retired the first batter he faced but then walked two on a total of 10 pitches. Both runners moved up on a ground out.

That set up Reynolds, who came through with a single to center that chased home both runners.

Baltimore starter Wei-Yin Chen (8-5) picked up the victory with seven innings of six-hit pitching. He walked one and struck out five. Jim Johnson's 1-2-3 ninth was worth his 28th save, which is tied for the most in the majors.

The Twins scored twice in the first off Chen with RBI going to Josh Willingham and Trevor Plouffe.

Chris Davis hit his 15th home run of the season in the second for the Orioles. Minnesota went up 3-1 in the fourth when Justin Morneau scored on a sacrifice fly by Alexi Casilla.
