MLS: Toronto 2, Colorado 1

TORONTO, July 18 (UPI) -- Second-half goals by Ryan Johnson and Andrew Wiedeman Wednesday rallied Toronto FC to its third consecutive victory -- 2-1 over Colorado.

The three-game winning streak has come after Toronto (5-11-4) had won just twice in its first 17 outings of the season. It is still in last place in the Eastern Conference.

Johnson tied the score in the 51st minute and started the play that produced the winning goal in the 67th minute.

He won a battle along the right sideline and fed the ball to Doneil Henry at the top of the penalty box. Henry sent a low shot on goal that Wiedeman deflected past Colorado goalkeeper Matt Pickens.

Conor Casey scored for the Rapids in the 23rd minute. Colorado (7-12-1) has lost four in a row.
