HOUSTON, July 18 (UPI) -- The first two goals of the season by Calen Carr Wednesday brought the Houston Dynamo a 2-1 decision over Sporting Kansas City.
Kansas City played with just 10 men during the second half after Peterson Joseph was assessed a red card for a hard tackle on Carr just before the break.

Carr's goals came in the 25th and 79th minutes and kept the Dynamo unbeaten in their new stadium. They have six wins and three draws in the arena.
Houston (8-5-7) has a five-game unbeaten streak working overall.
Kansas City (11-6-3) lost for the third time in six games.
