Broncos' Elvis Dumervil arrested for assault with weapon

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., July 16 (UPI) -- Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil Monday faced gun charges following an arrest in Miami Beach, Fla., in a road rage incident.

Miami Beach police arrested Dumervil, 28, and his friend Andy Auguste Saturday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon for displaying a gun during an altercation after another car cut him off in a traffic jam, The Denver Post reported. A witness who saw the incident called police.

Dumervil posted $7,500 bail. Marty Magid, Dumervil's agent, said he was confident the charges would be dismissed.
