MLB: Toronto 3, Cleveland 0

TORONTO, July 15 (UPI) -- Carlos Villanueva and a pair of relievers teamed up on a five-hit shutout Sunday, staking the Toronto Blue Jays to a 3-0 decision over Cleveland.

Villanueva (4-0) didn't allow a run in his second straight start, stifling the Indians on three hits over six full frames. The right-hander overcame five walks and strike out eight in the victory.

Jason Frasor tossed a scoreless seventh inning and Darren Oliver earned his first save with two shutout frames to complete the triumph, which gave the Blue Jays the rubber match of its three-game series at Rogers Center.

Toronto scored all three of its runs in the third inning on RBI from J.P. Arencibia, Colby Rasmus and Adam Lind.

Tribe starter Derek Lowe (8-7) yielded three runs on three hits and four walks over six innings.
