TORONTO, July 6 (UPI) -- The Toronto Blue Jays cut 49-year-old pitcher Jamie Moyer from their organization -- the third club to release him this season.

Moyer had signed a minor-league contract with the Jays in late June. He had pitched twice for Class AAA Las Vegas, posting an earned-run average of 8.18.

Moyer has a 269-209 record with eight different teams in parts of 25 seasons in the major leagues.

He became the oldest pitcher ever to win a major league game while with the Rockies in April.
