FRISCO, Texas, July 4 (UPI) -- Zach Loyd and Danny Koevermans traded first-half goals Wednesday that left Dallas and Vancouver settling for a 1-1 tie.
Loyd put Dallas in front on a header from the middle of the box 5 minutes into the contest. Koevermans tied it by getting his right foot on the ball from in close during the 31st minute.
Dallas (3-9-6), a power in MLS in recent years, has gone 12 consecutive games without a victory. Its last win came April 14 against Montreal.
Vancouver (7-4-6), which began the night tied with Seattle for third place in the Western Conference, has posted a 2-1-2 record over its last five games.
