MLB: Miami 7, Milwaukee 6 (10 innings)

MILWAUKEE, July 4 (UPI) -- Donovan Solano doubled and came around to score the go-ahead run in the 10th inning Wednesday, completing the Miami Marlins' comeback 7-6 win over Milwaukee.

Miami overcame an early 5-1 deficit with four runs in the seventh, thanks to a three-run, pinch-hit homer from Logan Morrison and Justin Ruggiano's solo shot.

The Marlins fell behind by a run and were down to their last strike in the ninth when Gaby Sanchez sliced a 1-2 pitch from Brewers closer John Axford into the right-field seats, tying the score at 6-6.

Then in the 10th, Solano pounded a two-out double off Manny Parra (0-3) and Hanley Ramirez followed by sending a grounder up the middle for an RBI hit.

Wade LeBlanc (1-0) picked up the win with a scoreless ninth and Heath Bell secured the Marlins' victory with his 18th save, as Miami triumphed following a pair losses in their four-game set against the Brewers.

Norichika Aoki and Aramis Ramirez each provided two hits and an RBI for Milwaukee.
