MLB: Chicago White Sox 19, Texas 2

CHICAGO, July 4 (UPI) -- Kevin Youkilis went 3-for-6 with four RBI and smacked one of four White Sox homers Tuesday in Chicago's 19-2 rout of Texas.

A.J. Pierzynski clouted a three-run homer while Alex Rios added three hits, including a solo shot, and drove in three runs as the White Sox bashed 21 hits.

Adam Dunn homered and doubled for two RBI and Alexei Ramirez chipped in with three hits, including a two-run single, for American League Central-leading Chicago, which logged its most-ever runs in a single game against the Rangers.

Chris Sale (10-2) turned in his ninth straight start without a loss, handling Texas on one run over 7 1/3 innings. The left-hander issued five hits and a walk while fanning four.

Rangers starter Roy Oswalt (2-1) was rocked for 11 runs (nine earned) on 13 hits over just 4 2/3 innings.

Elvis Andrus drove in both runs for the AL West-leading Rangers, who dropped the opener of a three-game series.
