MLB: Texas 7, Detroit 5

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 26 (UPI) -- Michael Young's RBI triple triggered a Texas rally and Yu Darvish struck out 10 Tigers Tuesday in the Rangers' 7-5 decision over Detroit.

Texas was trailing 3-1 in the fourth when Adrian Beltre singled with one out and Young drove him in with a three-bagger into the left-center field gap.

Young came home with the tying run when the next batter, Nelson Cruz, delivered a single, and Texas added RBI hits from Yorvit Torrealba and Brandon Snyder in the big frame to grab the lead for good.

Ian Kinsler contributed a first-inning solo homer for American League West-leading Texas, which evened its three-game series.

Darvish (10-4) notched his third win in three starts, allowing four runs on four hits.

Drew Smyly (2-3) was tagged for six runs on eight hits over 4 2/3 innings for the Tigers.

Detroit's Prince Fielder drove in four runs with a solo homer, a two-run double and an RBI groundout.
