MLB: San Francisco 9, Oakland 8

OAKLAND, Calif., June 23 (UPI) -- Brandon Belt and Buster Posey each smacked two-run homers Saturday but San Francisco had to hang on to eke out a 9-8 interleague win over Oakland.

Belt's clout in the in the sixth keyed a four-run rally that erased a 4-2 Oakland lead and Posey's smash in the next frame gave the Giants a seemingly comfortable 8-4 lead.

Oakland scored four times in the ninth until Clay Hensley induced Jemile Weeks to pop out with the bases loaded to end the game, collecting his second save.

Madison Bumgarner (9-4) got the win despite allowing four runs on 11 hits over six innings as the Giants clinched the three-game series.

Josh Reddick went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI, while Brandon Hicks highlighted the ninth-inning comeback with a two-run, ground-rule double for the A's.
