ANAHEIM, Calif., June 23 (UPI) -- Chris Capuano pitched seven innings of one-run ball Saturday and the Los Angeles Dodgers posted a 3-1 interleague win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Capuano (9-2) turned in his third straight start in which he has allowed two runs or fewer, lowing his ERA to 2.60. The left-hander surrendered seven hits, didn't issue a walk and struck out four.
Ronald Belisario tossed a scoreless eighth and Kenley Jansen racked up his 12th save for the Dodgers, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
The Dodgers scored two first-inning runs on errors by Albert Pujols and Maicer Izuris, while Jerry Hairston Jr. added an RBI single in the sixth.
Ervin Santana (4-8) struck out 10 but absorbed the loss, yielding four runs (three earned) on four hits in an eight-inning effort.
Erick Aybar got the only RBI for the Angels.
