MLB: Boston 8, Atlanta 4

BOSTON, June 23 (UPI) -- Will Middlebrooks and Dustin Pedroia each had three hits and drove in two runs Saturday in Boston's 8-4 interleague victory over Atlanta.

Middlebrooks gave the Red Sox the lead for good with a first-inning RBI single and Pedroia made it 4-1 Boston in the next frame with a two-run double.

Adrian Gonzalez added an RBI while Daniel Nava chipped in a two-run single for the Bosox, who evened the three-game series at Fenway Park.

Franklin Morales (1-1) earned the victory by going six innings, yielding three runs (two earned) while striking out eight and walking one.

Braves starter Randall Delgado (4-8) didn't make it out of the second inning. He was roughed up for four runs on six hits over 1 1/3 frames.

Michael Bourn went 3-for-5 with two RBI for Atlanta, which saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
