MLB: Oakland 4, Los Angeles Dodgers 1

OAKLAND, Calif., June 21 (UPI) -- Yoenis Cespedes' three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth Thursday gave the Oakland Athletics a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Brandon Inge drove in one run for Oakland, which completed a three-game sweep of its interleague series with the Dodgers and has won eight of its last nine overall.

A's starter Travis Blackley limited the Dodgers to one run on three hits in eight innings, striking out six and walking none. Ryan Cook (2-1) pitched a scoreless ninth to get the win.

Josh Lindblom (2-1) issued a leadoff walk in the ninth to Coco Crisp, who then went to second on a wild pitch and took third on a bunt single by Jemile Weeks. Cespedes drove both runners in with his seventh home run of the season.

Clayton Kershaw started and went eight innings for LA, allowing one run on three hits while walking two and striking out seven.
