HARRISON, N.J., June 17 (UPI) -- Gonzalo Segares netted the go-ahead goal in the 68th minute Sunday, propelling the Chicago Fire past Red Bull New York 3-1.
Segares scored when he blasted home the rebound of a shot by Dominic Oduro off New York goalkeeper Ryan Meara, breaking a 1-1 tie.

Chicago (6-5-3) got an insurance goal in the 81st when Chris Rolfe directed Patrick Nyarko's goal-mouth cross into the net.
Nyarko also found the net only 4 minutes into the game for the Fire, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Dax McCarty got the only tally for the Red Bulls (8-4-2), who were playing without the injured Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez.
