ARLINGTON, Texas, June 17 (UPI) -- Ian Kinsler's bases-clearing triple highlighted a big sixth inning Sunday that powered the Texas Rangers to a 9-3 win and an interleague sweep of Houston.

Kinsler's hit erased a 1-0 deficit. He later scored on Michael Young's single and Adrian Beltre capped the seven-run outburst with a two-run homer, handing the Rangers their sixth win in seven games overall.

Colby Lewis (6-5) struck out 10 batters over seven innings of one-run ball, yielding only three hits and one walk in a dominating performance for Texas.

Astros reliever Fernando Rodriguez (1-7) was tagged with loss after Dallas Keuchel had pitched well in his major league debut, limiting the Rangers to one run on four hits over five frames.

Carlos Lee drove in two runs for Houston.
