QB Vince Young sues agent, adviser

AUSTIN, Texas, June 12 (UPI) -- Buffalo Bills quarterback Vince Young has sued his former agent and financial adviser, saying millions of dollars vanished while they were in charge.

The lawsuit was filed Monday in Harris County civil court in Austin, Texas, the Houston Chronicle reported. Major Adams II, the Houston lawyer who was Young's agent until two years ago, and Ronnie Peoples and his company, Peoples Financial Services of Raleigh, N.C., are named as defendants, accused of fraud, unjust enrichment and other wrongdoing.

Young, 29, a native of Houston, was a football star at the University of Texas. He played with the Tennessee Titans from 2006 to 2010, with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 and is now with the Bills.

Adams and Peoples handled Young's affairs while he was with the Titans. He had a $54 million contract.

Trey Dolezal, the Austin lawyer who filed the suit, said Young definitely lost $5.5 million while Peoples was managing his money. He said another $13 million cannot be traced.

"We have no idea how much money is missing," Dolezal said.
