MLB: Los Angeles Angels 7, Colorado 2

DENVER, June 8 (UPI) -- Torii Hunter homered twice and drove in six runs Friday to lead the Los Angeles Angels to a 7-2 victory over Colorado.

Hunter hit two-run blasts in both the third and fifth innings and singled home two more runs during a three-run ninth. He broke out of a prolonged slump that had seen him produce only four hits in his last 14 games, while his batting average dropped from .319 to .238.
