MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 2, Philadelphia 1

PHILADELPHIA, June 5 (UPI) -- Chad Billingsley snapped a long winless streak Tuesday, outdueling Philadelphia's Cliff Lee in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 2-1 decision over the Phillies.

Billingsley (3-4) logged his first victory since April 11 -- a span of 10 starts -- by stifling the Phillies one run over seven innings. The right-hander allowed six hits, walked one and struck out three while tossing 69 of his 100 pitches for strikes.

Josh Lindblom hurled a scoreless eighth and Kenley Jansen finished up with his eighth save as the National League West-leading Dodgers won their second straight in a four-game series at Philadelphia -- and their third out of four overall following a five-game losing streak.

Trailing 1-0 since the first inning, Los Angeles grabbed the lead in the eighth when Elian Herrera stroked a two-out, two-run double off Lee (0-3).

The Phillies' left-hander struck out 12 over 7 2/3 frames, allowing two runs on six hits with one walk.

Hunter Pence got the only RBI for Philadelphia, which dropped its fourth straight.
