MLB: Toronto 8, Baltimore 6

TORONTO, May 29 (UPI) -- Brett Lawrie went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored Tuesday, powering the Toronto Blue Jays to an 8-6 win over Baltimore.

Lawrie's two-run double in the fourth extended Toronto's lead to 4-1 and he added a run-scoring single in the next frame for the Blue Jays, who clinched their three-game series at Rogers Center.

Rajai Davis added three hits and two RBI, and David Cooper contributed a run-scoring single in the victory.

Ricky Romero (6-1) notched the win by going six full innings while surrendering four runs on six hits. The left-hander struck out seven and walked one.

O's starter Jake Arrieta (2-6) was roughed up for seven runs (six earned) on six hits, lasting only 4 1/3 frames.

Adam Jones -- newly signed to a six-year, $85.5 million contract -- went 3-for-3 with two homers, while Chris Davis added three hits, including a two-run shot, as Baltimore dropped its fourth straight.
