BRUSSELS, May 24 (UPI) -- World No. 3 Agnes Radwanska of Poland cruised to an easy 6-2, 6-1, win over Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck Thursday at the Brussels Open.

Meanwhile, her sister, Urszula, was defeated in a quarterfinal match by veteran Swede Sofia Arvidsson 7,5, 6-4.

In other quarterfinal matches Thursday, eighth-seeded Estonian Kaia Kanepi downed Tsvetana Pironkova 6-3, 6-1, and Romanian Simona Halep was leading fourth-seeded Dominika Cibulkova 0-6, 6-4, 3-0 before tournament play was suspended by rain.
