COMMERCE CITY, Colo., May 20 (UPI) -- Tyrone Marshall and Kosuke Kimura each scored a second-half goal Saturday, lifting the Colorado Rapids into a 2-2 tie against Sporting Kansas City.
After spotting Kansas City a 2-0 lead, the Rapids began their comeback in the 52nd minute, when Marshall got under a free kick from Martin Rivero and headed it into the net. Kimura put home the equalizer 8 minutes later, when he converted Conor Casey's pass from inside the 6-yard box.

Colorado improved to 5-6-1.
Teal Bunbury scored twice within a 14-minute span for Sporting (7-3-1), which snapped a three-game losing streak but fell to third place in the Eastern Conference.
