Dufner birdies final hole for Nelson win

IRVING, Texas, May 20 (UPI) -- Jason Dufner's 25-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Sunday lifted him to a one-stroke victory over Dicky Pride in the Byron Nelson Championship.

Dufner drained the tournament-winning putt to finish with a 3-under 67, good for an 11-under 269 and his second PGA Tour win in three weeks.

Pride just missed his first victory since 1994 when he drove into the water on No. 18. He also posted a 67 to finish one back at minus-10.

Joe Durant (65), J.J. Henry (68), Jonas Blixt (66) and Marc Leishman (66) shared third place at 9-under 271.

Henry held a late lead until falling out of contention with a three-putt bogey on No. 17.
