MLB: Seattle 10, Colorado 3

DENVER, May 19 (UPI) -- Kyle Seager went 3-for-4, homered and drove in three runs Saturday, sparking a 14-hit attack that boosted Seattle to a 10-3 interleague win over Colorado.

Seager's two-run shot in the first inning put the Mariners ahead for good.

Dustin Ackley and Casper Wells each drove in two runs and Jesus Montero supplied three hits with an RBI for the Mariners, who won their second straight against the Rockies.

Jason Vargas (5-3) earned the victory with seven solid innings, limiting Colorado to three runs on five hits, walking one and striking out one.

Colorado's Christian Friedrich (1-1) was pounded for eight runs on nine hits before being knocked out after five full innings.

Wilin Rosario hit a two-run homer for the Rockies, who suffered their eighth loss in 10 games.
